Goddess
Site Visit
Each Emerald Heart Journey includes a rich and creative in-person experience with me (and perhaps an Irish Wisdom Keeper) at one (or more) of Ireland's Goddess sites. Choose the length of our time together: an afternoon; a day or two; a week or longer.
Ceremonial Circle
The heart of your Ireland Journey is our time spent together in devotion. I will lead a beautiful ceremonial circle for us, sharing stories and blessings, and witnessing you as we meet with the Goddess at her site, commune with the land, and perhaps do a special ritual.
holding Space For you
I am your friend in Ireland. Reach out to me anytime before, during or after your trip; knowing that no question is silly, and I am always up for a chat about Ireland, the Goddess, and what may be unfolding for you. It’s my honor to hold space for you on your journey.

Emerald Circle Excursion
For an Excursion, we'll be together for about 6 hours (or 24 hours for sites that are further afield). I will open our circle and share the Sacred Story of the site and its Goddess energy. We’ll have plenty of time to wander, listen and commune with the land. Our excursion culminates with a ritual, activity or offering; a tea and snack break; and the closing blessing of our circle. Some Excursion options:
-
Mother Mary is venerated around Ireland, and Our Lady's Island in Co. Wexford is one of the most ancient and holy sites of Marian pilgrimage in Ireland. The island was also the home of a group of female druids in pre-Christian times. We will walk the ancient pilgrimage route around the lake, commune with the swans who live here, and visit the two holy wells on this site.
-
The Powerscourt Estate in the heart of Co. Wicklow (an area known as the garden of Ireland) is a gorgeous property with extensive gardens and forests. We'll wander the woodlands, following the poetic path of the Ogham tree alphabet, and learn why this alphabet has been connected to the Goddess Éiru, the Tuatha dé Danann, and the Bard Amergin. Myth or truth? Let's explore and discover!
On an expanded immersion, we might visit the Powerscourt waterfall, a majestic natural site and the highest waterfall in Ireland.
-
Glendalough, a spectacular Celtic Christian site in the Wicklow Mountains, is named for its two lakes (Glendalough means between the lakes). Though the Monastic City (the ruins of the monastery) is the advertised attraction, there's so much more to this place of natural wonder. Let's see if we can find the stone circle and the holy well, and the spirit of the Goddess Éiru in the mountain landscape.

Emerald heart immersion
For an Immersion, we'll be together for 48 or 72 hours. I will open our circle and share the Sacred Story of the site and its Goddess energy. We’ll have plenty of time to leisurely roam the site(s) and listen to the land speak to us. When possible, we’ll connect with an Irish Wisdom Keeper for more in-depth learning. Our immersion culminates with a ritual, activity or offering; a celebratory lunch; and the closing blessing of our circle. Some Immersion options:
-
Brigid is unique in Ireland in that she is both an ancient goddess and a patron saint; keeper of Flame and Well. Her Celtic Christian-era monastery was in Co. Kildare, and on our visit we will experience the holy well, the remains of the fire temple, and the home of the current eternal flame of Brigid, which is tended by the Brigantine nuns.
On an expanded immersion, we might visit Faughart in Co. Louth, which is the birthplace of Brigid.
-
The Cailleach, ancient grandmother of Winter, rests in the magical woodlands of Blarney Castle in Co. Cork. Together we'll seek Her power in the dolmens, majestic trees, caves and rivers winding through one of Ireland's most famous castle sites.
On an expanded immersion, we might visit the Hag Stone on the Beara Peninsula in West Cork, one of the jewels of the Wild Atlantic Way along the West coast of Ireland. Or the Hag Chair and Story Stone at Loughcrew Cairns in Co. Meath, in Ireland's Ancient East.
-
Tucked away in the heart of the Shannon River valley lies the ancient site of Lough Gur and its surrounds, including Knockainey or Áine's Hill. We'll marvel at the light of Áine the Sun Queen (also known as Ireland's Lady of the Lake) sparkling on the pristine waters of the lake, with the hills rising up behind it, mirroring the Tor of Avalon. Climb the hillside to find the ruins of a settlement. Visit a wedge tomb, and dance in the largest stone circle in Ireland, Grange Stone Circle.

Emerald heart pilgrimage
We'll be together for as long as you would like. At our first site, I will open our circle and share the Sacred Story of the site and its Goddess energy. At each site we visit, the story will continue to weave and unfold. We’ll roam the sites and listen to the land speak to us, and also to visit some towns and their shops, cafes and museums. When possible, we’ll connect with an Irish Wisdom Keeper for more in-depth learning. Our pilgrimage includes rituals, activities and/or offerings, and the closing blessing of our circle. Some Pilgrimage options:
-
Queen Maedb's Royal Site in the province of Connacht is not only the seat of her power, it said to be the place where Halloween (Samhain) originated. We'll walk the lands where the Bealtaine Assemblies were held; view what some say is Maedb's REAL tomb; and (for the truly courageous) enter the womb of the earth through Oweynagat, the Cave of the Cats, emerging reborn.
Continuing our pilgrimage, we might visit Carrowmore Megalithic Cemetery, Ireland's largest concentration of neolithic tombs. A centerpiece of the area is Queen Maedb's Cairn, visible atop the Knocknarea mountain. And we might seek Queen Maebh's dark sister Tlachtga in her sacred site of the Hill of Ward in Co. Meath.
-
Known as the "sacred center" of Ireland, the Hill of Uisneach marks the secret fifth province of Ireland, the Mide or middle. Nearby stands the Hill of Tara, where the king-making and other important festivals occurred in the time of the Druids. The Hill of Uisneach is the feminine center of the land, home of Éiru, the Goddess of Sovereignty of Ireland. We'll meet Éiru and Her sisters, Banba and Fódla at the Stone of Divisions as we commune with and offer our gratitude and devotion to this holy place.
Continuing our pilgrimage, we might visit the river goddess Bóinne in the Brú na Bóinne valley, home of the famous passage womb-tombs of Newgrange, Knowth and Dowth, as well as Fourknocks Passage Tomb, Loughcrew Cairns and more.
-
Another Goddess or site may be calling you...let's explore where she is leading us! Might we venture up into Ulster, Macha’s lands in the North of Ireland? Or to visit the dragons in Co. Mayo? What about Brigit's Garden in Co. Galway? The Faerie Ring of Co. Kerry or the caves of Co. Clare?
Yet another way to craft your journey is around your family heritage, or to honor a life transition. Consider incorporating a fact-finding mission or a ritual, such as:
~ The place(s) your Irish ancestors lived
~ A place you’d like to do an individual blessing or ceremony
~ A place you’d like to scatter the ashes of a loved one
Offer the gift of yourself ~ Receive the gifts of this land

a Travel Companion is…
A unique combination of a Tour Guide, a Planner and a Celebrant, with the soul of a Poet, the enthusiasm of a Cheerleader, and the devotion of a Priestess.
Hello, I’m Daria…So nice to meet you!
It’s been a beautiful journey to becoming a sacred travel companion. In my former life as a wedding planner, it was my joy to craft calm, fun and love-centered events, as I supported my couples and their families logistically and emotionally through a pivotal life experience.
As a wedding officiant and celebrant, I believe in the power of ritual and ceremony to honor and witness times of transition and major life events. And as one who is walking the priestess path, I live my life in devotion, awe and wonder.
After years of full-time traveling throughout the US and Europe, my husband and I chose to make our home here in Ireland. Now, I have the joy of accompanying soul friends to the sacred sites and natural wonders of Ireland, as a tour guide and travel companion.
a Tour is a Sacred Circle…
'Tour' stems from the word 'turn,' and means a circuit, or a journey. When we venture out on pilgrimage together, we are in a sacred circle.
why I believe in Sacred Travel…
I am dedicated to honoring the journey of life, and the place we are in each “now” moment. Sacred Travel means to go on pilgrimage, in a way that is not just "consuming" the place as a tourist, but being present in a reciprocal way.
In my years of living and traveling all over this island, Ireland has taught me that it takes time to sink into her essence, to see beyond the surface and unearth her hidden beauty. And when you glimpse the inner sanctum, her emerald heart, you are blown away by her majesty.
I am so grateful to be a guide and companion to those who come here (as I did) with a knowing in their hearts that they need to be here, but aren't sure why, or where to go, or what to see, or how to manage it all. What a blessing to share the real, deep, true magic of this land with you, dear friend. I can’t wait to see what unfolds on our journey!
“There are two ways of living one’s life. One is as though nothing is a miracle. The other is as though everything is a miracle.”
~ Albert Einstein
I choose the miracle, in pure gratitude for the ever-renewing gifts of life, and love.
